Seth's Fall

So a couple of days ago, my hubby was at work.  The ice in their parking lot was still pretty bad at this point.  He slipped and fell.  I WAS SO SCARED.  His back has been pretty sore since then.  His breathing has been pretty painful for a couple of days.  On top of that, he smacked his head on the ice.  He had a huge headache for a couple of days, and the day after it happened, he had a major nose bleed.  We are playing it by ear, but if these symptoms continue much longer, I want to take him to a doctor.

All the things that just kept going through my mind when it happened was being scared that he wouldn't be all right.  Those feelings were always there before, but are even more strong now that we are having a little one.  It is amazing how the switch in your brain gets turned on and worrymode begins.  Worrying about more severe accidents in the future and what they might mean for our little family.  I am just going to keep trusting in the Lord and praying that he keeps us all healthy.  Things like this show me how fragile we are and how we take our lives for granted.

Good lessons to learn!
